whats Xten upto these days?

ineen the next killer P2P based Messaging application with Voice , Text and Video so says Erik. Or is it just eyeBeam with a new label. I dont understand this move of Xten one bit. Whoa , I have been working with eyebeam's SDK for the last 4 months and I dont recall it being P2P based. Is P2P another trendy hi-tech terminology which is being constantly abused by marketing wise cracks?.

Futrther more , Is Xten being threatened by skype and paltalk. On its site Xten is offering eyeBeam only on a pay basis ( commercial license.) On the other side , its put up a site called http://www.ineen.com , that hosts ineen softphone , which is similar to the eyeBeam pixel by pixel in looks and features. whats happening .. ?

hhmmmmm now where are those few proposed drafts on SIP using P2P ??

Is the eyeBeam SDK easier to use than the eyeBeam softphone? I've tried a few times to get eyeBeam to connect to FWD, but it never really works properly.

I have used ineen and I have to say that I am impressed with how easy it is to create an account to make voice and video calls.

I think Xten and eyeBeam could learn a few things from ineen.

I have used eyebeam both the SDK and the phone and I have connected to FWD, Vonage and once upon a time Syndeocorp. Ineen is from Xten. In my understanding, its an eyebeam in a new avatar. Check your NAT and firewall settings with eyebeam, I had to do some extra setting with regard to those two.

Ineen Video conference
Yes, this is totally weird. The interesting thing is that you can do multi video conferencing with this client. Now thats worth money to a lot of people!

If only there were a way to hack the ineen client to point it to my own SIP proxy instead of theirs.... anyone?

Do you think its really p2p? I think they are hosting the service.
